Major Arcana Cards
The Fool
The fool represents new beginnings. Taking risks. The birth of a new born baby. Unexpected surprises.
The Magician
The Magician represents a magician or someone who has the tools at his disposal. He is able to maniest his desires in anyway suitable.
The High Priestess
The high priestess has secret knowledge. She can dive deeply into places noone else knows of. She is the psychic in the major arcana. If you have questions she will answer them only if she intuits it is necessary.
The Empress
She is the mother of the tarot. She is a woman who can be relied for comfort and direction. She is someone who is a mother or who is pregnant or married. She is the nurturer.
The Emperor
The father of the tarot. He is the one who is stern, well disciplined and has deep knowledge. He is a father figure who can be stubborn at times, but who is capable of taking the leadership role.
The Hierophant
He is the priest. This card represents church or tradition. This card also represents family traditions, marriage, christmas.....etc.
The Lovers
Deep union. A soulmate relationship or a deep love affair. Can also represent major choices between two people or something you cherish deeply.
The Chariot
Triumph. You have triumphed over all obstacles. May also represent a vehicle or travelling to a destination.
Strength
You have the strength and the power to do anything you like. You can face struggles head-on. You are not afraid anymore.
The Hermit
You may be soul-searching. Or someone who keeps to themselves. Solitude. Withdrawal from outside influences.
The Wheel of Fortune
Luck. You have struck it lucky and the wheel turns in your favour. Maybe ideal to purchase a lotto ticket. Or a big win!
Justice
Compromise. You have a balanced lifestyle. Or the court is in your favour. Can also represent legal contracts to sign.
The Hanged Man
Now is the time to make sacrifices. You may need to give up something in order to something better.
Death
This card does not mean death, rather a Transformation. Getting rid of old habits or situations that are no longer neccessary. An end to that which needs to be left in the past.
Temperance
A card of calm and tranquility, of allowing things to go with the flow. This may also represent teaching and/or travelling. This card may also represent temptation.
The Devil
This card represents addictions. It also represents being tied down with no escape. Can also represent drugs and/or alcohol addictions. Can also represent sexual addictions. On a good note depending on surrounding cards it may also represent a plationic relationship.
The Tower
This card represents something that has crumbled in a situation. Perhaps a business broken-down or a collapse in another area. However, this can also represent a blessing in disguise.
The Star
This card represents hope and of wishes fulfilled. This a destiny card, what you receive now, will be for good reason. Can also represent soulmate love.
The Moon
This card shows all are not what the seem. Just like a walk in the moonlight where shadows can appear different to what they really are. Illusions.
The Sun
Creativity. The sun shines on all endeavours. Positive thinking. Can also represent children. Twins.
Judgement
It's time to use your own judgement when approaching anything. Can also represent guardian angels. Your judgement is clear.
The World
This is a card of completion. Ending one phase in your life and entering a new cycle. You have completed something in your life and now it's time to move forward!
